Task 4: E-books.

An e-book is the digital format of an ordinary book. E-books can be read with a computer, with a special device or even with a mobile phone, allowing a more comfortable reading and study.

Actually, this system is used by manufacturers as hardware instructions, and by writers who are unable to publish their work in traditional format, and to publish his work digitally is easier. Moreover, many publishers already show and sell the two versions of a literary work.

The main advantage of using e-books is that, thanks to new technologies, we have the possibility to read a book without having it physically, anywhere in the world. The digital version does not fill space, and is easier to carry. On the other hand, the greatest disadvantage of e-books is piracy, because an e-book, like the printed format, is a proprietary software, and nobody can make copies without the author's consent.

In conclusion, we can use e-books as resources for language learning thanks to their convenience and availability.
